Songs as useful and motivating resources

American and British musical tastes are invading our minds and free time. For this reason, songs emerge as really useful and motivating resources. They improve our listening abilities, enrich our command of vocabulary and structures and help us improve our pronunciation. They are also very helpful when teaching value contents, such as Education for Peace, Intercultural Education, Education for the Consumer... You may not like foreign music and prefer flamenco, but let me tell you that British and American songs are also very cool. So, invite your teacher to play 'Where is the love' by Black Eyed Peas, 'Rehab' by Amy Winehouse, 'American Dream' by Madonna or any other song you like. Then come and tell me if you enjoyed the activity.
